BUSINESS DIRECTORY

[attr="class","busdescription"]Eat-In - A pretty basic casual restaurant. They serve your typical burgers, chicken fingers, some sea food, and pretty good pie for desert. Eat-In is reliably good for when you just don't want to cook dinner and might want a good beer with it. Burger Me - Burger Me is a step up from your typical burger place. They sell more than just their signature local grass fed burgers. They also offer bison, lamb, and a burger that instead of a patty has a filet of salmon on the bun. Burger Me is a place you take a date when you don't want to pay too much, but you want good food that's a step up from your usual casual sit in restaurants. La Petite - One of the two nicer restaurants in town. La Petite specializes in small plates and many courses. It is where people go for fancy dinners, celebrations, and when they want to impress someone. It is possible to get in without a reservation, but they are requested if you don't want to wait for too long. The Cellar - The Cellar is just that. Located in an old cellar that has been transformed into an upscale restaurant with dim lighting and an expansive wine list. Not exactly what most people expect in a small town. It is the type of place where people need a reservation if they ever want to get in because it is so small. Inside Cafe - Inside Cafe started out as just a coffee and tea shop, but eventually expanded to serve pastries, espresso drinks, and more. They've now expanded to serve drinks, pastries, fresh made doughnuts, and assorted breakfast foods in the mornings. In the afternoons they still serve their full menu, but they also include grab-and-go sandwiches for people in a hurry. Hal's Diner - Hal's is good for any time you just want something good and greasy. Around two in the morning there is a rush of millennials for waffles and hash browns when they've had too much to drink. It is a casual place to enjoy some good food that's bad for you. Tipsy Tomato Pizza - Tipsy Tomato offers both take out and delivery pizza, as well as a small area where you can sit and eat. Most people come for just the pizza and beer, but some people who are watching what they eat will choose to enjoy a salad or one of their few other entrees, including pizza. Sprinkles Bakery - Sprinkles is owned by a local who grew up with a passion for baking, and put that passion into a business making cakes and cupcakes. They sell all varieties of cupcakes, with some changing seasonally when the owner has a new idea. Wicked Cold Creamery - Wicked Cold Creamery is a frozen yogurt shop with flavors that change on a daily basis and more toppings and combinations that a person can eat in a lifetime. In addition to changing flavors daily the shop has a monthly mystery flavor to change things up. Dos Margaritas - The local casual Mexican restaurant in town. Dos Margaritas is a dive where you can enjoy large margaritas, chips and queso, and the best guacamole you can find in town, which surprises most people. McDonald's - Everyone knows the famous arches they see when driving down the interstate to go on a trip somewhere. It's fast, easy, and open after midnight when you just need some food. Sonic - The drive in fast food restaurant is a step up from McDonald's, and has some of the best shakes around. Sonic offers a menu with more variety than you would expect when it comes to fast food, and their shakes and blasts are some people's favorite things. | [attr="class","busdescription"]Club Vodka - Not the most original club name in the world, but it attracts enough people in the small town. The club is two stories with the top being mostly dance floor with a small bar and the lower is more lounge space with a larger bar. Live music rarely occurs here, mostly it is just a DJ. The Dive - The dive is a good place to sit down, have a drink, and not worry about all of your problems. The Dive is a small, dark place with a couple TV's up on the wall playing sports most of the time. The bartenders are the kind that won't ask too many questions if you're drinking alone. Escape - It is more of a club, like Club Vodka, but it has less dance space and more lounge space, giving a good mix of the feeling of a club, but the relaxed atmosphere of a bar. It has quickly become the go-to spot for people when they get done with the day on set, offering a place where someone can relax, have a few drinks, and feel like they're not in a small town anymore. |

[attr="class","busdescription"]Bowling Alley - During the daytime the bowling alley is mostly kids parties, but in the evenings and late night they serve beer and some adults can be found there as well. It isn't a huge place, with just one main room with the lanes and a bar off to the side, but not much else can be expected in a small town. Rita's Salon - No one really knows who Rita is at this point, or cares, but the salon has been around for a long time. It is the one place in town to get your hair done without driving to a bigger city. They also have a nail bar for when a woman just needs to pamper herself for the day. Movie Theater - The movie theater is nothing special, just like most chain theaters. They sell popcorn that tastes like its never fresh, and almost all of the major movies play when they're released on the same schedule as the rest of the world. The outside looks a little old, but inside it seems to be about the same as most theaters. Rec Center - The rec center is the only gym in town. It has an older looking weight room, indoor pool, outdoor pool, and two group exercise rooms in the building. | [attr="class","busdescription"]Antique Market - In an old forgotten town, there are plenty of antiques that are found in various places. The antique market has stuff that has been found in more places than just Ellisville. Some of the stuff is junk, but sometimes artwork and jewelry is found in the stores. Candy Shop - The candy shop has been in the town as long as anyone can remember. They have fresh ice cream in the store at all times, chocolates, and the candy selection changes based on what they feel like making that day. It feels like going back in time to an old fashioned candy store when you walk in. Bookstore - Not too many book stores around anymore, and this one isn't your typical with a Starbucks. It is an independently owned used book store with the usual selection of used books, but also a selection of rare books like first editions that people would be surprised to find. Farmers Market - The farmers market is open every day of the week with fresh fruits, vegetables, and meats depending on the season. Liquor Store - A town wouldn't be complete without a place to buy liquor. The problem is that this is a small town, so they know everyone that comes in and out of the place. Grocery - Everyone needs groceries, and not everything can be found at the farmers market. The grocery store in town is a local business, unlike most chain grocery stores, but offers just about all of the food a person could need. |

[attr="class","busdescription"]Farmhouse Hotel - The Farmhouse Hotel is just that, what used to be an old farmhouse, and it has been converted into a large boutique hotel on the edge of town. The building was expanded to include more rooms, and it has become the place to stay of the two you will find in Ellisville. Ellisville Motel - The motel is a place to stay when you don't want people to know you're around or if you want to disappear for a few days. It is a quiet place with outdoor entrances and just the most basic amenities. The owners ask no questions, just that you pay your bill and don't trash the rooms. Miles Auto Shop - Miles Auto Shop is good for when your car is just having some minor problems, and they're affordable, or will at least work with you on it. The shop is locally owned. |
