Svetlana is an actress, through and through when it comes to her personality traits. She is dramatic, outgoing, and a little bit selfish at times, especially if she thinks you may be standing in the way of her ultimate goals of fame. She's been singing, dancing, and acting her whole life, but comes from an old southern family who would rather she get a normal career someday, after going to college, and they hope she settles down with a nice man. Svetlana wants nothing to do with their plan, and very little to do with them. Ever since she found out about her adoption, things have been cold in her house.
As a high school girl, Svetlana has plenty of friends, who mostly come from her activities outside of school. She has been dancing her whole life, so she most likely has friends from even before she was in school. Now most of her friends are the ones she spends time with, so other people involved in the drama club and school productions.
Just like any high school girl, Svetlana has enemies. She's competitive. This means if you're on her level, or above it (although she likes to think of herself as the best), then she won't like you from the beginning, because she will see you as the competition. She also has not always been the best person. She got the reputation over the past few years of sleeping with her costars, which makes some girls wary of her, although she is in a relationship. He dramatic side also turns many people away. Every small thing in Svetlana's life is blown up into something bigger than it really is.
Svetlana has a love life that has two phases. The first phase was when she was a freshman and sophomore in high school. It started with her costar in Spring Awakening in freshman year, when she started hooking up with him through the semester. Then, it was with a guy from the spring play, and then the guy she was with during Romeo & Juliet, and she finally settled down with her boyfriend during her junior year. To most people, it seems like someone with a scandalous past just trying to seem like they can have a relationship, but Svetlana is very serious about her relationship. After everything that happened with her family, she finds comfort in having someone she chose to be with, not someone who just chose her.
